1. Why can’t you run standard Java bytecode on Android?

6. What is ANR, and why does it happen?

ANR refers to ‘Application Not responding’. It is a dialog box that appears when the user is interacting with an activity but activity is on Resume() method. 9. Name some exceptions in android?

o Inflate Exception- This exception is thrown by an inflater on error conditions.
o Surface.OutOfResourceException – This Exception is thrown when a surface couldn’t be created or resized.
o SurfaceHolder.BadSurfaceTypeException– This exception is thrown from lockCanvas() when called on a Surface whose type is SURFACE_TYPE_PUSH_BUFFERS.
o WindowManager.BadTokenException – This Exception is thrown when trying to add view whose WindowManager.LayoutParams token is invalid.
10. Explain hybrid example in java.
Hybrid inheritance is a combination of single and multiple inheritance. Since Java doesn’t support multiple inheritances with classes, hybrid inheritance is also not possible with classes.
